Terrific Art Direct is an artist-run service group that provides professional artist interviews, exhibition reviews, and exhibition opportunities for emerging and mid-career artists. Our mission is to create meaningful visibility and support for creative voices worldwide. Terrific Art Direct is proudly based in Chicago, USA.
Founded in Jan 2021, it began initially as "Avant-Garde Sisters", later as “Avant-Garde Art Projects,” a premium column on the influential Chinese art media platform Artron Art Express (雅昌艺术头条), focusing on Chinese-language content. In November 2025, it was renamed Terrific Art Direct to expand its reach in the English-speaking art world, connecting artists, audiences, and ideas across cultures. Through featured interviews, exhibition reviews, artist profiles, and cross-disciplinary dialogues, Terrific Art Direct offers thoughtful criticism, accessible visibility, and pathways for creative growth.
